Shipping/Handling Policy:
You will receive an e-mail notification when your order has been placed.
You will receive an second e-mail notification when your order has been shipped with a tracking number.
Delivery Confirmation with tracking is included in the total shipping amount on all orders. ( Parcel Post, First Class and Priority Mail )
You may then log on to www.usps.com enter the tracking number and follow the progress of your order.

Orders are typically delivered within 3 - 4 business days from the date of shipment ( not the order date ). However, there can be many delays that may occur that are beyond our control.
NOTE : We will no longer ship to a Post Office Box number. Unless the credit card is registered to that Post Office Box number.
Billing address MUST MATCH your credit card address.
Shipping is by the United States Postal Service. Click on the Insurance button on the left of each category page. This will add the Insurance to your order.

Shipping charges are affected by a variety of factors, especially when shipping to a non-U.S. destination. We are always working to improve the quality and cost of shipping for both U.S. and non-U.S. customers. For this reason, shipping rates and policies are subject to change without notice. Delivery days are quoted in business day terms, as they do not deliver on weekends nor count weekends/holidays toward delivery time.
NOTE : Please add insurance for your protection. Dead Dog Records will do everything we can to help you track your package, however we are not responsible for your lost or delayed package once the package has been scanned into the USPS tracking system. The USPS driver at his/her discretion may choose to leave the package at the door. If the package is left at the door, then it becomes the customers responsibility. It is advisable that the shipping address provided indicates the name of a receiver. There may be an additional charge for incorrect address listed on the order form, or for any change of address once the package has been shipped and in USPS possession. It is the customer's responsibilty to provide the correct shipping address and e-mail address. Aways Dead Dog Records assumes NO liabilty for packages left at the door.
Please note: On U.S. holidays, order processing and/or shipping may be slightly delayed. Christmas delay up to two weeks.
Unless otherwise noted in the item description, all CDs are new and factory sealed, however, some imported CDs do not come sealed from the manufacturer. Used CDs will be indicated as "Used" in the item description.
RETURN POLICY
In the event of your receiving a defective CD, that is currently in print, upon return to our facility, a defective product may be exchanged for the SAME TITLE ONLY. If the same title is out of stock, then it will be backordered and shipped when available. If we are unable to obtain the same title then we will issue a full refund.
Customer pays for return shipping, we pay shipping for the replacement. If a customer wishes to return a CD because of a purchase mistake, it will be subject to a re-stock charge of 20% of the original purchase price and may only be returned to us, unopened, undamaged and factory sealed, otherwise we will not accept it or issue any credit. If we make a mistake and send the wrong CD, then you may return it to us, unopened, unsealed and undamaged We will send the replacement CD at our expense.
To return a CD, for any reason, you must e-mail us to obtain a return authorization number. Any packages arriving without a return authorization number will be refused and returned to sender.
NOTE: In the many years we have sold CDs, we have encountered very, very few that were defective and had to be returned, more often than not, we have found, that when we played the returned CD, it was fine and not defective. Some CD players, especially the older ones, car players and some lower priced players have difficulty with some CDs. If you encounter a problem, please try playing your CD in another player or players, if the problem does not persist, then the problem is not with the CD, but rather, the player. Use a " CD DISC CLEANER " to clean the lens of the CD player to prevent this kind of problem.
Damaged jewel cases may not be returned or exchanged.

Information concerning the CDs we sell, is true and correct to the best of our knowledge, however, we will not be responsible for typographical errors or errors due to inaccurate information listed that was provided to us by the record labels, vendors or mistakes on packaging that provides some of the information we place in our ads.
We make no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied as to the overall quality of the CDs we sell, including "sound quality". Because of the many varied origins and individual standards of quality, which range from very poor to excellent, not to mention the subjective nature of "sound quality", we will not be responsible of the overall quality of the CD, unless determined to be damaged or defective by the manufacturer.

We have no control over this and WE WILL NOT REFUND for delayed or lost packages shipped outside of the USA. The U.K. Royal Mail Service in Great Britton will some times hold your package for the VAT. Check with them after the shipping times listed above to see if they have your package. Some times they R.M.S. will NOT notify you and will return your package back to us.

We are not responsible for any import taxes your country may charge you. We have no control over what (VAT) tax(es) your country will charge you! Some CDs/DVDs may weigh more because of BOOKLETS enclosed in the case. These will be adjusted for.
International Policies

Customs Fees & Import Duties
Packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which the order is shipped. Any customs or duty charges ( VAT ) are always the responsibility of the customer. Customers should check with local authorities concerning any applicable taxes ( VAT ), duties, and/or customs delays before placing your order. We are not responsible for any of these fees or delays. When you receive your order and refuse to pay the VAT ( tax ) your order will be returned back to Dead Dog Records. You will be CHARGED a 20% restocking fee on ALL returns.

Some countries place restrictions on certain imports, and some of these imports are banned altogether. Customers should check with local authorities before placing an order. While we can refund the merchandise cost if an item is returned to us due to import restrictions, we cannot refund the shipping and handling charges. In some cases, customs officials will confiscate the restricted items, in which case we cannot refund the merchandise or the shipping and handling costs. When you receive your order and refuse to pay the VAT ( tax ) your order will be returned back to Dead Dog Records. You will be CHARGED a 20% restocking fee on ALL returns. Think before you order !
Notice !
All packages are shipped with a completed USPS Customs Declaration Form CN-22 and invoice. We do not mark items as gifts or ship CDs removed from their case. Cases are for protection. Don't even ask !
Fruadulent Orders and Activities
When we suspect fraudulent activity we will provide the necesary information to the credit card companies. If the credit card companies verify that the activity is fraudulent, you are no longer considered a customer and we may share this information with industry associates in an attempt to stop the fraudulent activity. We do not extend our privacy policy to those attempting illegal transactions.
Please add the appropriate Shipping charges to all offline mail orders.
